Inner Life Training

This program offers short-term training designed to encourage and enhance pastors and church leaders in the development of an established inner life, leading to a closer walk with God and a more powerful and fruitful ministry in the Gospel.  Emphasis is laid upon Christian character and personal relationship with God which is closely inter-related.

The training is conducted in the form of seminars or workshops which usually last from one to two weeks.  Topics center around such disciplines as “Developing Your Inner Life”, “The Practice of Waiting on God”, “The Secret of Silence”, “Walking in the Presence of God”, “Abiding In Christ”, “Hearing the Voice of God”, “Knowing the Holy Spirit”, “How To be Led by the Spirit”, etc.

The seminar/workshop is held in many locations both in the United States and overseas.  In 2008, for example, JMI ministry staff traveled to eight major cities in Southeast Asia, apart from those in North America, to conduct such seminars and workshops.  For details, please visit our ministry report page.

 

Annual Conference

This is a two-week bi-lingual (Chinese and English) leadership conference held annually in Dallas in conjunction with the seminar/workshop.  Conference themes are usually built around the centerpiece of JMI ministry, i.e., the development of Christian inward life.  JMI has hosted three such conferences in Dallas since 2006.  Similar conferences have been held in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China.
